Youth Development Center
Preparing our youth to be the business owners & entrepreneurs of tomorrows world, today.
About us

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”

― President Barack Obama

I AM Youth Development Center is a 501(c)(3), public non-profit, membership-based work & social space for enrolled high-school youth. This is a safe haven for virtual learning in your youths’ current studies while encouraging them to explore their passion in entrepreneurship, technology, business ownership and financial literacy. I AM YDC was established to bridge the gap between what youth are learning in school today and the tools they need to be the business owners and entrepreneurs in tomorrow’s world.

By becoming a member of I AM YDC your youth will have a safe, clean environment to study, learn new skills, develop current skills, socialize, and interact with leaders of the community. With membership, your youth will have access to a full snack bar, complimentary dinner served each evening, Wi-Fi, tutorial sessions where more attention is needed as well as homework assistance, college and trade school preparation and access to community leaders through our mentorship program.

Be The Change You Want To See
“The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image, but giving them the opportunity to create themselves.”
―Steven Spielberg

"Service is the willingness to sacrifice for others or for a cause."

―Simon Sinek

I AM YDC is seeking Energetic and Creative Educators. If you have retired from servicing our youth within the school system or you are new in your career as an educator and want to lend I AM YDC’s youth your talents, we are excited to have you! Our commitment to inspire the youth to reach their full commitment can’t be done without YOU! Our goal is to endorse the school day learning by broadening our youths’ perception and understanding creating an environment to apply the knowledge learned.

"If you want to be a true professional, do something outside yourself."

― Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Representation Matters. Take time to give back to the I AM YDC youth and show them that today’s entrepreneurs and business owners started with a simple want and sometimes need to make a change or solve a problem. Twice a month I AM YDC will host a local business owner or entrepreneur. We invite you to share your journey with our youth then stay for questions and conversation during a complimentary dinner.
